Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions of sale govern the relationship between Pearson Star Alliance Carrier Limited, a company registered under number +15 18 750 0918 in the Companies House Register of England and Wales, and any individual or entity (hereafter referred to as the “Customer”) seeking to reserve a chauffeur-driven car service (the “Service”).

By making a booking with Pearson Star Alliance Carrier, both the Customer and Passengers acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions set forth by Pearson Star Alliance Carrier.

Pearson Star Alliance Carrier retains the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The applicable terms will be those in effect at the time the booking is confirmed.

Booking & Reservations

  • All bookings should be made in advance via our website or email.
  • Guests must agree to these terms and conditions to secure a reservation.
  • Consumers retain any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
  • We accept all major credit and debit cards including American Express.

Cancellations & Amendments

Cancellation or amendment requests must be sent by email to: info@pearsonstaralliance.ca or booking@pearsonstaralliance.ca .

  • Free cancellation up to 3 hours before pickup within Greater London.
  • Free cancellation up to 6 hours before pickup outside London.
  • Free cancellation up to 12 hours before any hourly service.
  • Mercedes Sprinter Van (16 Seater) and Rolls Royce bookings require 72 hours notice.
  • Failure to meet cancellation requirements will result in the full fare being charged.

Delays & Service Disruptions

  • Pearson Star Alliance Carrier shall not be liable for delays caused by traffic, adverse weather, road works, or road incidents.
  • In the event of a breakdown or accident, we will provide an alternative vehicle where possible or arrange a taxi at no additional cost.
  • Flight arrivals are monitored and pickup times adjusted accordingly without additional charges.

Vehicle Allocation

  • Pearson Star Alliance Carrier reserves the right to cancel bookings due to vehicle availability.
  • Vehicle upgrades may be offered with passenger approval.
  • The chauffeur will use the most suitable route unless otherwise requested.

Insurance & Liability

All vehicles are fully insured under hire and reward insurance in compliance with Transport for London regulations.

Customers’ property is carried entirely at their own risk. Pearson Star Alliance Carrier cannot accept liability for loss or damage to personal belongings.

Passenger Conduct

  • Drivers may refuse service to passengers under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Service may also be refused where behaviour presents a risk to the driver, vehicle or other passengers.
  • Customers are responsible for any damage caused to vehicles or equipment.

Luggage Policy

Passengers are responsible for ensuring that luggage quantity and size are suitable for the selected vehicle.

Excessive baggage may be refused and no refund will be issued in such circumstances.

No Show Policy

Passengers who fail to meet their driver at the agreed pickup time will be classified as a No Show.

  • Private address pickups: 15 minutes grace period.
  • Airport and cruise terminal pickups: 60 minutes grace period.
  • Train station pickups: 30 minutes grace period.

Waiting Time Charges

  • Executive Saloon/Sedan – $0.80 per minute ($48/hour)
  • Electric Saloon/Sedan – $0.87 per minute ($52/hour)
  • Executive VIP/First Class (Up to 4 Years) – $1.00 per minute ($60/hour)
  • Executive VIP/First Class (Up to 2 Years) – $1.20 per minute ($72/hour)
  • Luxury SUV (Range Rover) – $1.50 per minute ($90/hour)
  • Luxury MPV – $1.00 per minute ($60/hour)
  • Executive MPV (8 Seater Van) – $1.20 per minute ($72/hour)

Hourly Service

Hourly services are intended for city tours. Airport hourly services require a custom quotation.

Hourly bookings include up to 12 miles per hour. Additional mileage will be charged.

Additional Mileage Charges

  • Mercedes Benz E-Class – $2.80 per mile
  • Mercedes Benz S-Class – $3.90 per mile
  • Mercedes Benz V-Class – $4.00 per mile
  • Mercedes Benz Vito Tourer – $4.40 per mile
  • Range Rover Autobiography – $5.70 per mile

Additional Charges

  • Waiting time charges.
  • Vehicle upgrades.
  • Parking fees.
  • Additional stops.

Child Seats

  • Not available in E-Class, S-Class, or Range Rover vehicles.
  • Child seats cost $10.00 each.
  • Booster seats are provided free of charge.
  • Customers using their own child seat are responsible for ensuring correct installation.

Lost Property

Pearson Star Alliance Carrier maintains a lost property register and will make every effort to return items to their rightful owner.

Public Holiday Charges

Fares are charged at one and a half times the standard rate on:

  • Christmas Day
  • New Year's Eve
  • New Year's Day

Customer Conduct Policy

Pearson Star Alliance Carrier is committed to providing the highest level of service. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward verbal abuse, harassment, threats, bullying, racism, aggression, rudeness, or any behaviour that negatively impacts our staff and drivers.
